Information We Collect

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain types of information including: your IP address, domain server, type of computer or mobile device, web browser and statistical information regarding the pages that you visit, as well as the items viewed on the Site. We may use web beacons, match scripts, pixel tags or similar technologies that allow us to know if a particular web page was visited, an e-mail opened, or links in the email utilized. In some instances, these technologies may allow us to match activities with particular users.

Like many commercial websites, we analyze how visitors use our Site through what is known as “cookie” technology or similar tracking tools. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer when you access the Site and allows us to recognize you each time you visit the Site. We may use cookies to: (1) allow you to use the Site without having to re-enter your user name and password; (2) enhance or personalize your Site usage and shopping experience; (3) monitor Site usage; (4) manage the Site; and (5) improve the Site. If you choose, you can set your browser to reject cookies or you can manually delete individual cookies or all of the cookies on your computer by following your browser’s help file directions. However, if your browser is set to reject cookies or you manually delete cookies, you may have some trouble accessing and using some of the pages and features that are currently on our Site, or that we may put on our Site in the future. Note that browser-management tools for cookies are outside of our control and we cannot guarantee their effectiveness.

We may combine the information we collect through cookies, web beacons, or other technology tools with other information we have collected from you or information from other sources.

We may also use third party registration sites and platforms to assist with registering participants in our programs. When you register through a third party site, your personal information will be transferred to and used by us as stated in this Privacy Policy. Where we use such third parties, we will do so pursuant to a contract that requires such third party to protect your information in accordance with our standards.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the customer information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, including the categories of information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we have shared such information. As discussed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we do not currently share the personal information of California residents with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. However, if you have further questions about our privacy practices and compliance with California law, please contact us as explained below.

Do Not Track

The Site does not currently recognize automated web browser tracking method signals, such as “do not track” instructions. Do not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of tracking by websites and online services. At the present time, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has not yet established universal standards for recognizable DNT signals and therefore, Advancium and the Site do not recognize DNT.

Security Measures

We take the security of personal information provided to us very seriously, and we have implemented commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to try to ensure the protection of your personal information. We only keep your personal information for as long as required to provide you with the services you request, for the purposes outlined in this Policy, and for any legal purpose for which we are obligated to keep the information. We restrict access to your personal information (if any) to those individuals who need to know that information for the purposes outlined in this Policy, and when we no longer need your personal information, we will delete and/or destroy the information per our data destruction policies.

Cross-Border Transfers

The Site is hosted in the United States. If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred across nation borders and may be accessed by our vendors and suppliers from countries with varying degrees of protection for your personal information. By using the Site and agreeing to this Policy, you expressly consent to the transfer of your information as described in this Privacy Policy and the processing of your data in any jurisdiction, including, without limitation, the United States of America, in accordance with this Policy and applicable privacy and data protection laws and regulations.

Children’s Policy

Our Site is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or use personal information from, or disclose personal information about, any children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. By submitting information to us (whether or not through the Site), you represent and warrant that you are not under the age of 13. If we learn that any personal information has been submitted by any child under the age of 13, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.

Minors under 18 years of age may have the personal information that they provide to us deleted by sending an email to info@advanciumhealth.org requesting deletion. Please note that, while we make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests, deletion of your personal information does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of that data from all systems.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time and without notice. If we do change this Policy, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this Policy and will post any such modified Policy on the Site. Any change will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. You should review this Policy each time you access the Site to see the most recent version.
